Our employees had fun giving back and helping others during our annual Month of Giving and Service! More than 44% of our employees participated in 57 volunteer projects serving 27 nonprofits.

Our Employee Resource Group (ERG) for LGBTQ+ staff is one of a handful of resource groups at Blue Shield. These are employee-led groups who share common interests or backgrounds and demonstrate the company’s values to the larger community.
Blue Shield Veterans’ volunteer bike-building event
Our Operation V.E.T. Employee Resource Group (ERG) partnered with Blue Star Families to build and donate bikes to children of active-duty service members in San Diego.
