Filling your prescription through our mail service pharmacy
Through December 31, 2024, Blue Shield offers delivery of the medications you need on a regular basis through CVS Caremark® Mail Service Pharmacy. You can receive an extended supply of maintenance medications, depending on your prescription plan benefit, at your home, with no charge for standard shipping. Note that a credit card is required to set up mail service.
Ways to access your mail service pharmacy through December 31, 2024
- Log in to your Blue Shield of California online account to set up mail service. Automatic refills may be selected.
- Ask your doctor to send eligible prescriptions electronically.
- Call (866) 346-7200 (TTY:711) to set up mail service.
- Download the order form below, fill it out, and mail it with your prescription to CVS Caremark®.
- Fax the order form and prescription to (800) 378-0323.

Keep in mind that there is a longer turnaround time when you submit your prescriptions by mail.
Starting January 1, Amazon Pharmacy will be our home delivery pharmacy. Get your ongoing medications delivered in secure, discreet packaging. And track your packages with updates along the way. Blue Shield members who don’t have Amazon Prime will have prescription drugs delivered in 5 days. Amazon Prime members receive 2-day delivery at no additional cost.
