Members with higher risk
You may be eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine.
Visit myturn.ca.gov to learn more.
Putting off care can lead to serious health complications or life-threatening medical emergencies. Don’t let COVID-19 keep you from taking care of your health.
It’s always important to see your doctor routinely, especially if you have a high-risk medical condition. If you think you have` COVID-19 symptoms, follow up with your doctor right away.
You can find general guidance for specific conditions on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s website. Please speak to your doctor about your personal health needs and how to best manage your care during this pandemic.
Getting care
Healthcare facilities have safety practices in place to protect you from getting COVID-19. Learn how to safely resume in-person visits.
If you have concerns about leaving your home, you have options:
Schedule a virtual visit with your primary doctor
Ask your doctor’s office if they have phone or video options. To view, select, or change your doctor, log in to your online account and click My plan.
Consider using Teladoc*
Teladoc doctors can treat medical issues and prescribe medications.
Teladoc: Access board-certified and licensed doctors 24/7 by phone or video. Note: Teladoc cannot order COVID-19 tests but can check if your symptoms are consistent with COVID-19 and advise on treatment options. Make an appointment.
*Not all plans have access to Teladoc. Check your Summary of Benefits or plan documents for information about standard out-of-pocket costs for your plan. You can also log in to your online account to see what benefits your plan covers. If you need more guidance, please call the customer care number on your member ID card.
Ask about home infusion services
If you normally receive drug infusion services in a facility, talk with your doctor. You should ask whether these services should be continued and, if so, done in your home instead.
If your doctor says you can safely receive these services at home, they can order home infusion services. If you have questions or need help finding a home infusion provider, please call the customer care number on your member ID card.
Managing your condition from home
Talk with your doctor about whether you need any equipment to manage your health conditions.
This may include:
- A blood pressure cuff to check your blood pressure
- A pulse oximeter to check your blood oxygen levels
- A blood glucose meter to check your blood sugar levels
Call the customer care number on your member ID card to learn more about your coverage for supplies and where to get them.
Filling prescriptions
Try to limit in-person visits to the pharmacy if you can. Do not stop taking any medications without speaking to your doctor. This is especially important if you have chronic health conditions.
Order prescriptions through the mail.
You may have access to extended day supplies of your maintenance medications through our mail service pharmacy. If you have a Medicare Advantage plan, Cal MediConnect, or Medi-Cal plan, you can also fill this extended day supply through a local retail pharmacy. Find out if your prescriptions are eligible.
Some network retail pharmacies are waiving fees for home delivery of prescriptions. Visit your pharmacy’s website or call them to see if they offer free delivery.
Plan your visits to the pharmacy.
Try to order and pick up all of your prescriptions at the same time. Contact your pharmacist to see if they can “sync” your medication fill dates.
If refills are available, you may be able to fill your prescriptions early to ensure they are all filled at the same time.
If available, use drive-thru windows or curbside services (wait in your car until the prescription is ready).

Your plan may also give you access to more programs and benefits to support your health:
